For earbuds the noise cancelling is excellent and the sound quality is good. Battery life is good. lasts about 2 days of heavy use before the noise cancelling ceases. I do have a little trouble with them being secure in my ears, would not want to do vigorous activity in them and I find the battery bulky and the location fiddly.

If you are noise sensitive, these are more than a luxury. Even without listening to anything, pop them in & turn on noise cancelling; everything sounds much further away. An absolute saviour when in a uncomfortably loud environment (currently have major building renovations in flat above; I'm not exaggerating when say that my Bose's have been a life changer)

Best cabled headphones I've used in terms of comfort (in ear ) and noise cancelling. The battery is not heavy but it can be annoying.

I have actually owned three pairs of these earphones. I like the BOSE leaning towards warm, bass heavy sound. They are comfortable and work well for light sports and gym. The problem is, they are built to break and always develop a fault. I treat my earphones well, I am a professional musician and know how to handle delicate equipment and not one pair of these earphones has lasted longer than 18 months. I I may buy a used pair for cycling but will never spend £80+ for a new pair that I know for sure will stop working.

Fancied the Bluetooth ones but online reviews put me off, very happy with these as noise cancelling is amazing and the sound quality is very good. I can live with the wire!
