I wanted an upgrade from the keyboard I was using to learn piano. The Roland came highly recommended and it has lived up to its hype. It feels like a real piano, and it sounds wonderful. I was surprised by how little space it takes up. I was also surprised by its weight. I wouldn't want to lug this thing around, but I don't think it would be a problem for anyone who is used to carrying amplifiers to a gig.
