This guitar is exactly as described, awesome little guitar for travel and practicing on. the package arrived in perfect condition and a also arrived a little earlier than expected! If you order online it can be 50/50 if the delivery company doesn't damage items these days but I was happy to have this guitar arrive in mint condition. Finally, the ultimate Fender acoustic guitar-Long live the California Vintage series!!
This is the guitar that I didn't know that I was looking for. The Fender Palomino has a clear, distinct and very classic sound- The construction is first class, it plays very well, and I just couldn't be much happier! I usually play rosewood dreadnoughts, this guitar has a more balanced, gentler sound, not too bright and not as heavy and dark sounding as rosewood. Ovangkol is clearly a fantastic tonewood. It opened up more when I replaced the strings with D'addario EJ26. This guitar is also a very nice size, easier to hold and play than my dreadnoughts- it's just a bit smaller all around. I am also very surprised how well it stays in tune, much better than any of my other acoustic guitars. I have been waiting patiently for a California series guitar with excellent tone woods- the dream is ... This is the guitar that I didn't know that I was looking for.
