Nicely made unit, well packaged and does the job described. However, given that the seller makes the point to highlight the high quality components used, I was a little disappointed to see 'HongFeng' XLR connectors and not Neutrik or Switchcraft. Also the statement about the audio-grade components not fitting into the competition's barrel type adapters is a little specious as I suspect the most popular (albeit more expensive) Canford model shows better resister tolerances in its datasheet.

Thanks for your positive feedback. Just to clarify: As stated in the item description all resistors & capacitors pairs used in my product are hand matched to equal value with 1% tolerance or better. I can't find any statement about resistor tolerances in the Canford datasheet at all. The other product also does not offer additional power filtering for lower ripple. I'm using full sized, low esr, audio grade capacitors. The complete &better circuit does not fit into a XLR barrel for that reason

Nice little item very well crafted. It works 100% with my MKH 416 T together with my MKH 416 P. Both mics get 48V from my Sound Devices 442 :-)
