    Top Notch

    Crystal clear sound quality for my work which is voice recording for teaching. Very low sound floor when on phantom power but great to have the battery backup option. Solid metal build and robust enough to last for years. Looking forward to putting it properly though it's paces.

    Top quality mic that carries the Rode 10 year warranty which is user transferable, go to Rode website, register the product (need the serial number) provide proof of purchase and Rode will transfer whatever time is left on the warranty to you - excellent. The mic itself is lightweight, well made, excellent sound quality - no hiss or self generated noise, I can see why people in the 'know' prefer these and why Rode have such a stellar reputation. Excellent quality, excellent value for money, a good reliable solid performer that exceeds expectations.

    Makes a hugh difference from using the onboard mic. Not as good as my ME66 but then there a extra cost involved with that mic.
