    Excellent sound. Crisp, clean and even has the ability to crank up the volume. We have been using these for a couple of months now and would really recommend them. Ours came with cables and set up and take down is very easy. I believe we received an overall excellent value.

    You;ll hear the subtle nuances.

    Reviews tell you that the HS8 are top contenders for best value for the buck. My opinion I also agree. My personal reasoning for choosing them is that the speakers offer more detail. My analogy is that among other details they get into the singers mouth closer than other reference monitors. I want to hear the subtle differences.

    Amazing monitors for the price

    Cannot begin to explain the extreme accuracy of these monitors. They sound amazing! They'll definitely let you know if the balance of your room acoustics aren't up to par as well; so make sure you treat your room after treating yourself to these babies. New mixes from my DAW translated seamlessly onto other listening devices. I can't recommend these monitors enough to the budding producer/mixer who wants to make sure their mixes are speaking the truth.

    Yamaha HS8 - Solid

    Very happy with these. Definitely more transparent than the JBL lsr305/310s monitors I have sitting next to them, which are less-colored than KWKs but not in the same league as these Yamahas. The HS8 sound is so similar to my AKG K240S can as to be almost indistinguishable. Bass is controlled and not pushed, highs are very present but not harsh. Stereo imaging is pretty decent, too, and there's plenty of power for when I decide I no longer need to save my ears for the balance of the session. Overall, I'm VERY pleased with them. Just really nice transparency, nice detail. One of my better purchases. I'm hearing things out of my Great River ME-1NV that I didn't hear before.
